Quality break time games

I've been playing online games for quite a while now, as well as making the odd one too. You can take a look at some of the projects I've been working on in the Dev section. Anyway, aside from the little bit of work I've done, I wanted to find a site that offered a little bit more in terms of quality where games are concerned. I'm particularly fond of TeaGames, which also happens to have the best genre of games in my opinion - Motorcross! If you want to play more motorcross games, have a look at TeaGames because if you haven't already I think you'll be plesently surprised.

Can I use Windows on my Mac?

This will be common knowledge to most mac enthusiasts but I have discovered via a friend that you can install Windows on a Mac. The reason this came up, is because I recently broke my laptop and have been using a Mac in the mean time and wondered if it was really possible to run Windows happily on a Mac. Now, I never actually got it working because for one reason and another the copy of Windows I had wouldn't boot but I have seen a friend use it and it's name lends very well to its nature which is SWSoft Parallels Desktop. It runs parallel to Mac's OS X and what a job it does. You can install the majority of everyday applications onto this virtual version of Windows, but watch out for games, not all are compatible.

The domain, the site...

Just a quick message to say that the site is nearly up and running, I've had an unfortunate set back of late - I dropped my laptop and have resorted to using a Mac. Admittedly I'm no Mac expert and thus updates to the site have been, minimal! Anyway I hope to start using the blog more now the site is online and will perhaps add a forum of some sort at a later date.

Have a look at the Dev section if you haven't already - there's a few of the games that I've been working on in there, just a bit of fun!

.NET from now on

After spending nearly a year striving away at html, css, Flash and now ASP.NET and never having actually launched this site, I've decided to build the whole thing in .NET. I had been well on the way to uploading the site in html but wanted to continue to practise what I'm learning by actually using it to build the site. All I can say is it's on it's way and should be up and running just as soon as I've stopped messing around with the design and got myself some .NET hosting!
